Research, Development, and Innovation Program — ANEEL

The ANEEL Research & Development Program allocates specific resources to electricity companies (EEE), specifically transmission companies, 0.4% of their net operating revenues, with the aim of promoting a culture of innovation, stimulating research and development in the Brazilian electricity sector, creating new equipment and improving the provision of services that contribute to the security of electricity supply, tariff affordability and the reduction of the sector's environmental impact. Argo works in partnership with several research institutions, supporting national technological development, aligned with the company's strategy and the guidelines of the Research and Development Program regulated and supervised by ANEEL.

We currently have 5 projects running in the lines of research: Electricity Services Quality and Reliability, Electricity Systems Operation, New Technologies for Electricity Systems Maintenance and Inspection, and Electricity Systems Planning.
